I bought these along with a pair of Rambles (which are great!) specifically for biking, skiing, running, etc. I wanted the venting, the coverage, and photochromic lenses. Especially for mountain biking in the trees where light conditions can change quickly. Well I gotta say they don't disappoint! They fit great, have a huge field of vision, are super comfortable, and they don't fog even on the sweatiest of climbs. The lens changes amazingly fast so I never feel like I'm missing something on the trail and the included retainer strap is solid and comfortable. They fit great with a helmet or hat on top of everything else. I can't wait to take these to the skin track this winter and they might just replace my goggles on those sunny spring days riding chairs. Super solid product for an amazing price!
As an alpine climbing guide, I was in need of something that could handle the changing conditions in the mountains. We leave camp around 2am in the pitch black, often with windy conditions that pelt your eyes and face with loose ice and snow chunks, so eye protection is essential. These glasses provide that without inhibiting vision in the dark, then seamlessly adjust with the sunrise to keep me shielded. In everything from night sky to cloud cover to blinding sun, these glasses have performed well and never fog. Plus, at half the price of many of their competitors, the Glade Stash are an absolute steal. Bonus points that they come with a soft and hard case, and a retainer strap that never slips off.
Big fan of the look and size on these glasses, and the photochromic lens is great when riding through both sunny open fields and darker forested areas.
These sunglasses / goggle alternatives are awesome. I love the wide view angles they offer and the photochromic properties for riding in varying light conditions. They are super wide and offer good eye protection for dirt, rocks, and mud. Great airflow as well. The only critique I have is the angle of the lense on my face. The top of the glasses have a larger gap when on and don't sit as flush as some other glasses I've used in the past. This hasn't been a huge issue and maybe the frames will settle with use, more just something I noticed when first putting them on. Excited to put them to use in winter as well, boarding on a warmer day with variable light conditions these things would be perfect!
Love these glasses for mountain biking. I am always looking for good photochrom glasses that have good coverage. These do both well. Fit well with a helmet too!
