Glade Optics Accessibility Statement

We want everyone who visits Glade Optics' website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

Our accessibility goal

To help us make the Glade Optics website a positive place for everyone, we use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, more compatible with assistive technology, and more user-friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility: A, AA, and AAA. Level AA is our target for the Glade Optics website. We are continuing to improve the website and have not yet resolved all of the accessibility barriers identified in our audit.

Our accessibility work

We work with Crownpeak, a Rezolve AI company, to evaluate accessibility and help us work toward our goal. The audit covers representative pages and features:

  • Home page
  • 404 page
  • Collection pages
  • Product comparisons
  • Product pages
  • Global elements, including the header, footer, mini-cart, and dialogs

Crownpeak's evaluation includes manual testing on Windows or Mac computers using NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver, as appropriate, alongside automated testing.

Known limitations

Our audit identified accessibility barriers in website components, page content, and third-party features. Some areas may not yet be equally accessible or usable for everyone.

Third-party features covered by the audit include:

  • Gorgias chat
  • Zonos international-shopping features
  • Rebuy recommendations and cart features
  • Judge.me ratings and reviews
  • Klaviyo newsletter forms
  • Specs Compare product comparisons
  • ProductWiz / RIO product media and variant controls
  • Embedded YouTube videos

Some improvements require changes by the providers of these features. We continue to review accessibility issues as part of our ongoing work on the website.
