Some days call for more coverage. Whether it’s a sunny day on the river or a trek across bright glacial snow, light doesn’t just come from straight ahead. It bounces off every surface around you and sneaks in from the sides and top of your sunglasses.
That’s where the new Verbier Shields come in. Designed specifically for the Verbier, these removable black shields attach to both sides of the frame, with an additional forehead plug to help block overhead light. Together, they give you extra glare protection when conditions get bright, reflective, and hard on the eyes.
Built for Water, Snow, and Everyday Wear
The Verbier is one of our most casual silhouettes, which is what makes the shields so useful. Snapping on the shields takes you from an everyday pair of modern aviators, to a high coverage pair of sunglasses built for variable outdoor conditions. They’re easy to pop on and off, so you don’t have to commit to a super technical look all the time. Add them when the light gets intense and remove them when you’re back in town.
Small Change, Big Difference
The Verbier Shields include both side shields and a forehead plug, all in black. Cutouts allow the temples to fold even when the shields are installed, and the fully assembled sunglasses still fit in their sleeping bag pouch.
They’re compatible with all Verbier models, past and present, so if you already own a pair, you’re good to go. And if a shield goes missing, replacement accessory shields are available for purchase.
