Comparing to Smith I/XO

Comparing the Fathom + to my Smith I/XO goggles: Both goggles have there good and bad featurs. The Fathom + photochromatic lenses were far better and faster than the Smith's. The included Rose low light lens was amazing performance when it was cloudy and snowing. I could clearly see all the bumps, dips and features. The Smith's low light never were very good. Although I prefered the Smith in bright sun. The Fathom + never fogged even while riding during a snow storm. The Smith's have a built in fan to desl with fogging. The downside of the Fathom design is my eyes get cold with all the air flow constantly flowing through. Kind of breeze inside. Another minor complaint with the Fathom + is I can't see my snowboard while skating through the lift line. There's a blind spot looking down, which doesn't exist with the Smith's. Overall I prefer the Fathom +.

Bad ass goggles

I have been skiing, racing and coaching for 51 years. I coach at grand targhee which is know for powder and foggy days. Finally there is a goggle that can handle the elements, clouds, fog and sunny spring day. Well done Glade!

From the west, to ski the east !

They have very comfortable fit, made with awesome material, firm but soft on face, wicked clear, perfect helmet fit, like they were made for the east with all our changing weather. Just what I was looking for. Thanks.

The search is over

These have it all. Interchangeable magnetic light adjusting lenses, replaceable strap, wide viewing area, and more comfortable than my old set. Just need the right size helmet to come back in stock to complete the upgrade.
