Premium Sunglasses for Mountain Town Living
"Glade proves you don’t need to drop more than $200 to have a high-quality experience. I was so happy with its versatility."
"Best Overall Eyewear Award Winner: After a summer of hiking and biking around Colorado, they’re as unscratched as the day we got them."
"These glasses performed well in all areas and passed my many tests. After a month of wearing them, they’re still scratch free."
These sunglasses are effin amazing. They fit great, look great, and didn’t slide off on my long hikes in the Washington national parks! I can’t wait til I can afford to buy the tortoise pair!
Just rocked the Westslope sunglasses through the Bavarian alps, a raft float in Ulm and hiking in Austria. These glasses not only fit great…. They keep all reflected light out and allot of folks were saying they were sick…because they are .
I live on Maui-Hawai’i , it’s sunny here and with the ocean glare a nice pair of good fitting sun glasses fits my needs well. I love the Townie olive shade and appreciate that they are under $100. Great customer service as well.
Bought a pair of the roosts for my Mt Whitney and Mt Muir ascent last week and they did not disappoint. Super light weight and the polarized lenses were incredible. Cannot recommend them enough.
These are amazing glasses. Perfect fit, light, great light accommodations, and tough. Wore these hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and chillin at the brewery. Excellent product once again from Glade!!
It seems like "sporty" sunglasses are all trending smaller and smaller, and I really do better with a larger lens. The ones with larger lenses are heavy and awkward and ... weird (think goggles, not sunglasses). The Apres does a great job of walking the line of fashion and function. I love the Honey color and the olive lens does a great job of cutting the light without distorting the color - usable from morning till evening, whether walking or driving or whatever.
These Roost Photochromic sunglasses have completely exceeded my expectations!Mountain biking in the rain , mud, wind, variable light conditions they have offered great visibility and protection! The photochromic’s ability to change with the light conditions make them great for riding thru the shaded trees out into the sun. The wrap around design also allows for great all around visibility. Great Sunglasses! Can’t wait to try them out skinning up/skiing this winter!
I LOVE my Cary sunglasses! They are extremely comfortable and so lightweight that you barely notice them on. They've become my go-to sunglasses for every occasion. I can't leave the house without them!
I've quickly fallen in love with these glasses as my new go-to glasses. I've long used other high end glasses like Smith and Revo. These are on par for frame and lens quality. They just feel great on my face: lightweight, comfortable fit, and great optics. When I eventually lose or break these, I'll be looking back to Glade for my next pair.
I'm the first to be skeptical of any product I get sucked into buying that my interest was initiated from a Facebook ad, still the ad drew me in and peaked my curiosity. Sunglasses to me are like shoes or purses may be for women. I love to try new ones. I've worn sunglasses from all major manufactures and the biggest and most expensive brands, however, lets just say the Glade is even and could be argued better than all of them. I liked my first casual pair so much they have become my daily go to for driving. Since, I also picked up another pair of the sports frames for cycling. I love everything about them. The touch, feel, build quality, optics quality and of course the style. I'm a believer in Glade and especially for the price they are the best value on the market!
These are now my go-to glasses for the summer. I take these hiking, biking, and even to an afternoon bbq. The polarized olive lenses are crystal clear work in most lighting situations. I get tons of compliments on them as well!
I’ve been wearing the same old transition sunglasses for over 10 years because I couldn’t find anything else that worked. But the photochromic Roosts are awesome! We’ve been riding a lot at elevation, going from dark pockets of trees to open mountain slopes, and I never notice my sunglasses. And there’s nothing better I can say. They are just there, staying put, and adjusting quickly to whatever light I’m in. I finally found the sunglasses I need. And unexpected bonus: the are great for disc golf!
Possibly the most comfortable eye shades I’ve owned to date. Comfortable on the ears (big head) with no pinch or pressure. Same on the nose… no slide even when sweaty and feeling pretty dirtbag-ish. The color blue is blue! And very much a standout color of lenses and frame. Ordered the black and gold mirror shortly after purchasing these for my better half!
Great on trail or in water! No tired squinty eyes in the San Juans 😎
Bought these for my wife and she loves them. Light, comfortable, & no nose piece to catch in her hair! Likes them as much as her Maui Jim’s.
From mountain biking to trail runs to paddling to earned beers in town, these glasses can do it all and are the best I’ve ever owned. Lenses are crystal clear and cut through the glare but are also versatile enough to handle sun/shade transitions with zero issues. Frames are super light weight - i hardly notice they’re on - but they stay put without sliding around no matter what the activity. Other glasses I’ve tried in the past tend to pinch at my temples and suck to wear long-term. These are like a soft mountain cloud gently caressing my face. The final kicker - customer service is as good as it gets. Solid company, great product. Buy em and love them.
